I know this challenge has spanned a looooooong period of time and I've been rather haphazard as a mod (and you can bet I'll be investigating having a co-mod for all future challenges), but as far as I am aware there are still a few of you EPBBers still hanging in there.

I would appreciated it if ALL podficcers who've signed up could respond to this post to let me know what your project status is:

Now begins the 24-hour

podparty sprint! If you wish to participate, all you need to do is make an effort to work on ~~your Podfic Big Bang~~ podfic* at some point during the day and check back in with us in reply to this post. I recommend starting out by sharing your goal for the day and then returning to provide status reports at regular intervals (e.g. after recording a chapter, editing 10 minutes, etc.).

If you're on twitter, feel free to direct status updates toward @podficbigbang to be retweeted.

Yesterday was supposed to mark the first Check-In for this round of the annual Podfic Big Bang, but I am utterly without home internet, so it had to wait until I could get to a free wi-fi zone.

For those of you who have not started--don't panic! You have plenty of time!

In order to make the monthly check-in more useful to participants, the check-in will be followed by a GSD week. What sort of art are you seeking?: Cover art, promo graphics or art if you're feeling up for it but not necessary.

Explain the details of your request: I've made some covers in the past but they're pretty simplistic, I lack Photoshop. This is a big undertaking (just finished recording it's about 2.5 hours long) and I'd like a cool cover to attach to it. So long as the title, the author's name "Kethrua" and my name "Aunt Zelda" are on there somewhere. Go crazy. Imitate the book covers. Whatever springs to mind after reading the fic.

mific has created some great art for one of my PBB projects already, but this story is great and has dragons. So if anybody wants to do something with that, wonderful. I'm almost done with this podfic, so I'd be happy to let you listen to the podfic early while you do your artsy thing and work your mojo.

Title of Story: (two stories by Sheafrotherdon) A Whole World of Trouble and One Hundred Sixty Acres and a Stitch-and-Bitch Quilt

What sort of art are you seeking?:
I usually do my own cover art, but this podficcing project is going to take a lot of time, so it'd be great to have someone else make the two covers.
Explain the details of your request: I'm happy with any style of art, as long as it's appropriate to the content of each of the stories and the font's clear and legible. I'm happy to art-beta, of course! Although the two stories are set in different eras, the theme of my set of stories is "Western" (as well as both being by Sheafrotherdon) so I'd like the cover art not necessarily to look identical, but to be reasonably similar in style, since I'm submitting them as a themed set for the Big Bang. They're both great favorites of mine, especially WWoT which is my go-to comfort fic.
