So, I've got the whole 4+ hours recorded and edited. Problem is, I have it in chunks and when I tried to put it together, I got totally confused and also discovered that one file had static in it and blergh. Then I got distracted with my sister's wedding. I really want to get this thing done by the end of Nov and post it for PBB. Wedding is over. I have a show in just less than five weeks (ack!), but yeah, I'm going to see if I can get it done.

You have plenty of time to figure it out! For me, the recording part is often the hardest because I have to be in the right mood for it. XD

In case anyone is wondering what I'm working on:

The Radio Wedding (103,000 words)
- Part 12 requires final edits and alpha listen
- Part 13 requires full editing and alpha listen

One Small Step (37,000 words)
- Approximately 17,000 words remain to be recorded.
- The entire podfic will need full editing and alpha listen

~Mystery Collab~
- Lots and lots of work to do! We will see if it gets finished in time. ;-)

Well, I was on a roll last month. Recorded 17 hours / 90k fic in a 5 day span. Then I got burnt out from the recording and baseball and work and real life. Now I just have to make myself edit it. I have all the components (music, coverart, child's voice-thank you jelazakazone) I just need to make myself dive in and finish.

I had someone else listen (who is not a podficcer) and she caught a few bloopers, so I fixed those, but I would really appreciate another listen. I need to upload the fixed versions and then I'll shoot you links. Thanks so much! It's 4 hours 20 minutes (about).

I'm doing well! I'm determined to beat my word count from last year (500k). Unfourtunately, I actually word counted the FMA fic I'm doing and it was less than I thought (under 300k) so I've had to add some smaller projects to round out the word count. My current status is as follows:

Naruto fic (series) #1 (166,861): 100% complete and ready to post (still open for art claims) [Theme Week]

FMA fic (261,394): 34/34 chapters recorded and edited, 27/34 beta'd and ready to go. Cover art done. [Theme Week]

Naruto fic #2 (128,352): 32/32 chapters recorded, 24/32 chapters edited, 0/32 chapters beta'd. Cover art done. [Theme Week]

Hockey fic (35,040): edited, waiting beta. Cover not started. [Free-for-all Week]

Teen Wolf fic (26,102): recorded (today!), not edited. Cover waiting on permission from fan artist [EDIT: OMG the fan artist just contacted me and they made their art into a cover for me!! super gorgeous! so that is DONE]. [Free-for-all Week]

Total words: 617,749

I'm pretty much where I want to be. There is just a LOT of beta-ing in my future. I'm super excited because the FMA podfic has been a LONG time in process (though the bulk of it was done in the PBB time period) and the TW podfic is something I got permission to do AGES ago but never got around to.

I'm halfway done editing on what I'm convinced is the shortest podfic of the bang (17K). I'll probably just end up finishing it the week before it's due (like most of my projects).

I'm nearly done editing mine now. I probably have 1/3 left to edit and a handful of rerecords left to do.

I don't have an artist yet, though.

I have the entire story recorded and I've edited the first half of it. I still need to edit the last 2.5 chapters and give my cover artists a reminder of the due date, so she can start creating something.

There's still a fair bit more work to do (final pass edits on two-thirds of the story, and some recording), but I'm confident I'll get there :D The deadline pressure will give an extra boost too!

I'm doing an SGA story that ended up being 5 hours and 26 minutes long. The written work is 57,172 words. It is entirely recorded, edited and the mp3s have been listened to in their entirety. One error was fixed. The two finished mp3 files have been uploaded to Dropbox so mific can download them. She was nice enough to volunteer to create the audiobook version and the cover art. I don't think it fits any of the themes, so it will be posted during Free-for-all posting.
