Podparty Sprint!

Now begins the 24-hour podparty sprint! If you wish to participate, all you need to do is make an effort to work on your Podfic Big Bang podfic* at some point during the day and check back in with us in reply to this post. I recommend starting out by sharing your goal for the day and then returning to provide status reports at regular intervals (e.g. after recording a chapter, editing 10 minutes, etc.).

If you're on twitter, feel free to direct status updates toward @podficbigbang to be retweeted.

If anyone wants to launch a chatroom, please share a link here. I may attempt to do so in the later half of the 24-hour sprint, but for now I'm heading to bed.

* Originally this sprint was intended only for Podfic Big Bangers, but anyone working on podficcery may join in. The more the merrier!

My personal goal for the day is to finish editing the last few chapters of my first PBB (formerly my EBB) and record at least 10,000 words of my second PBB. ♥

My personal goal today is to (around a work engagement) record 2 chapters each of the 2 podfics I'm working on as bonus PBB podfics. Because I missed yesterday (also a work engagement... stupid work cutting into my podficcing time) and I'm trying to keep up with one chapter each per day. Maybe, in the spirit of sprinting I'll try for 3 each but no promises :)

Sometimes I feel like coming up with good artwork is harder than recording or editing artwork. Finding a concept I like can take me hours, how about you?

final count is 3 ch.s recorded of the FMA fic (totaling just over 3 hours) and one ch. of the second Naruto fic (the first one is complete and ready to be posted) before my roommate wanted to go to sleep and curtailed my recording (totally legit as that she works early tomorrow morning). I hope to continue my productivity by recording the 2 ch.s of the Naruto fic I didn't get to today tomorrow and hopefully *fingers crossed* also record a further chapter of each fic. I do most of my editing at work (yay for breaks in which I can edit!) so that is also on the schedule. Oh! and I also beta'd a chapter and a half of the FMA one. Total count is FMA: 26/34 chapters recorded, 20/34 edited, & 15/34 beta'd; Naruto II: 24/34 chapters recorded, 20/24 edited, 0/34 beta'd (because I'm beta'ing one at a time).
